Cranfield University is a postgraduate-only public research university in the United Kingdom that specialises in science, engineering, design, technology and management. Cranfield was founded as the College of Aeronautics (CoA) in 1946. Through the 1950s and 1960s, the development of aircraft research led to growth and diversification into other areas such as manufacturing and management, and in 1967, to the founding of the Cranfield School of Management. In 1969, the College of Aeronautics was renamed the Cranfield Institute of Technology, was incorporated by royal charter, gained degree awarding powers, and became a university. In 1993, it adopted its current name.

Yale New Haven Hospital (YNHH) is a 1,541-bed hospital located in New Haven, Connecticut. It is the second-largest hospital in the United States and one of the largest in the world. It is the primary teaching hospital for the Yale School of Medicine and the Yale School of Nursing. Owned and operated by the Yale New Haven Health System, YNHH includes the 168-bed Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale New Haven, the 201-bed Yale New Haven Children's Hospital, and the 76-bed Yale New Haven Psychiatric Hospital.

Lupinus subcarnosus, the sandy land bluebonnet or Texas bluebonnet, is a species of flowering plant in the family Fabaceae. It is native to southeastern Texas and northeastern Mexico. A winter annual reaching 40 cm (16 in), it prefers deep sandy soils. With other related species of lupines also called bluebonnets, it is the state flower of Texas.
